Following my last post yesterday I would like to share with you some old pictures of my 2022 handmade quilt.
I am very happy with my work because I wanted to make something that would be identical to 06th century quilts and reflect the creative power of my brand ARIANE CRAFTS.
initially I also wanted to leave something to my sons , a family heirloom. but unfortunately my sons do not want my things. so i assume that after i pass away this will be donated to a museum.
i used the cryptic rugs and coptic mats stitch to bind the different layers of the quilt.
this is the same stitch i want you to use or try to use in your shirred rugs when using it to reflect a wonderful vertical fizzy look.
is historically accurate and will give your mat an authentic look. if however you want to use other stitches go ahead.
