At Ariane Crafts, we recognize that our material inventory is a vital component of the British and Anglo-American textile inheritance. To protect these assets from loss and to meet UNESCO Living Heritage standards, we are initiating a full Accession Registry of our conservation-grade rolls. Every material in our studio—from 11ct Interlock to Penelope Canvas—is being formally “accessioned” with a Unique Reference Number (URN) and a secure digital UUID.
We are documenting:
- Accession IDs: e.g., TX-R-00421.
- Supplier Provenance: Documenting sources like Whaleys Bradford.
- Physical Specifications: Precise weights (gsm) and widths to prevent substitution or theft.
This audit ensures that every fiber intended for British heritage restoration is accounted for, protected, and preserved for the public interest.
