To our valued readers and followers,
Following a protracted period of administrative delay, we are pleased to announce that we have achieved independence from the previous stakeholder structure. Consequently, the organisation has been assigned its own public historical registry accession numbers. The formal transition from the previous designation (Stakeholder 21) to the ‘Ariane Crafts Historical Research URN’ represents a significant milestone in facilitating access to the primary and secondary sources that have underpinned our historical needlework research and development over the preceding years.
A substantial portion of our collection, comprising several hundred objects, has now been uploaded and is accessible via the link below:
THE PUBLIC HISTORICAL REGISTRY – ARIANE CRAFTS
(Estimated completion date: 02–05 May 2026)
The subsequent phases of this project will involve the digitisation of periodicals, including magazines, journals, and newspapers. This will be succeeded by the cataloguing of our extensive collection of textile literature, which constitutes a substantial undertaking. We therefore appreciate your continued patience during this ongoing process of archival expansion.
Yours sincerely,
Ariane Crafts
